Codes&Ethics&Rules
-The name of the network/website will be Master Forwarders Unity (MFU/Mfu or mfunity)-
Abidance to the following "Master Forwarders Unity-(Mfu or Mfunity)-" codeðics&rules are obligatory to the professional, efficient & honourable functioning of Master Forwarders Unity. Non-compliance or disregard to the following rules will result in disciplinary action (such as cancellation) :
1) Members companies must have been established for a minimum of three years.
2) Members must submit three (3) references from agents they currently do business with, outside the country in which they are located. Email addresses must be provided.
3) Members must be able to offer a full range of services including air & sea & land freight.
4) All members must participate in Payment Protection Program, outlined on the website.
5) All members must sign and operate in accordance with MFU General Agreement.
6) All invoices/accounts between members should be settled within 30 days from the date of invoice. (unless otherwise agreed)
7) MFU members must respond to all sales lead request and e-mail/faxes/letter communications within maximum 72 hours.
8) Members are to agree to exchange only net/net charges and rates.
9) Handling fee or profit share must be mentioned between members.
10) Members may terminate their membership to Mfu at anytime. Fees will not be refunded.
11) MFU owner and general coordinator have the the authority to terminate membership without advice any reason. Fees will not be refunded.
12) MFU coordinator may add to the code & ethics & rules at anytime.
13) In case of any dispute which does not reach mutual agreement within 90 days, all parties will inform MFU general coordinator.
14) In case of any dispute when MFU committee decide to cancel one of members's membership, fees will not be refunded to the fired member(s) and all members abide committe decisions.
15) If a member is deemed to have defaulted on a payment to a fellow member, the MFU coordinator reserves the right to notify all members using the any communication system. ( MFU general coordinator may publish these company name and details on the MFU website to protect MFU members )
16) MFU general coordinator/owner are not responsible for its members or websites visitors actions in any files/subjects.
17) MFU general coordinator/owner can not be held responsible and does not accept any financial liability
for commercial and/or financial obligations that are not met by (a) MFU members(s).
18) MFU reserves the right to issue invoice against annual listing/membership and advertising fee payments.
19) After member's company details listed in MFU according to its instruction, it means that all mentioned codes/ethics/rules/disclaimers are accepted without any exception.
20) MFU general coordinator/owner will not be held for any errors, omissions, misunderstandings or claims arising from any of above mentioned codesðics.
21) All members must behave according to "Master Forwarders Unity" criteria and represent him with his best.
22) In case of any non-payment situation between two parties, faulty side will be informed to FreightDeadbeats (www.freightdeadbeats.com) according to committee decision and besides membership of this faulty company will be removed immediately, fees will not be refunded.
23) Any changes in regulations (i.e. about customs clearance process, required documents etc...) should be advised to the shipper agent by the member of destination agent.
